Welcome to Elephant’s Ear Music. We are a new and thoroughly independent label, based in Amsterdam, Holland. Our aim is to promote the work of musicians and songwriters who don’t easily fit into the corporate machinery of the music business.

About us

We believe that music should be an emotional experience, not a commodity. And we aim to offer an outlet for music that would probably initially be ignored by music business executives who are looking for a boy-band to score a hit single. Nothing wrong with boy bands, or hit singles...just not what we are about. We have not set out with a particular style or genre in mind, but the musical tastes of the people involved lean in the direction of world music, folk, and folktronica. So that’s probably a good indication of where Elephant’s Ear Music will go in the future.
